Spring and summer has been kind to Hintertux glacier so far. Considering it is the end of July the condition of the snow was great! A bit soft and slushy but no glacier ice in sight and even the piste to the Tuxerfernerhaus was skiable and enjoyable 🙂
The weather was quite gloomy – cloudy, snowy and rainy lower down, so the photos from today are “atmospheric” rather than pretty…
